Buying company housing: how it works.

For buyers, HR and administrators arranging furnished housing for employees, in Gothenburg or in another Swedish town. The guide covers who the contracting party is, how our own homes differ from partner homes, how quotes and framework agreements work and what is confirmed before anyone moves in.

What company housing is

Company housing is a furnished home the company rents for an employee or a group for a period. The company is the contracting party, and the occupant needs no tenancy agreement of their own.

The need can be a consultant for a few weeks, a group of fitters on a project or new hires who need a home while they look for their own.

Our own homes in Gothenburg, partners elsewhere

In the Gothenburg area AWP Superhost AB lets homes we operate ourselves. They are shown in the catalogue with their own photos, capacity, bedrooms and equipment, and take from one up to sixteen people each.

In other towns the home is provided by a partner we have vetted. AWP Superhost AB is still the contracting party and invoices the company, so you have the same agreement, the terms in writing and one invoice whatever the town.

A quote for a single placement

You send a request with the town or work site, the number of people, the move-in date, the expected length and your requirements. Within 24 hours on weekdays you receive a written quote with the home, the total price, the VAT and the terms for changes and cancellation. If we cannot arrange housing that meets the brief, we tell you.

The quote is accepted on the quote page. The home is reserved only after that, once we have confirmed the reservation. A submitted request is not a reservation.

A framework agreement for recurring needs

If the company places staff more than once, the terms can be set in a framework agreement: how the price is set, how changes and cancellations are handled and how invoicing works. You do not renegotiate the same terms before each placement.

A framework agreement holds no homes in reserve. Each new placement is sent as a request, and the home, the dates and availability are confirmed against the agreed terms.

Price, VAT and invoice

The price is per person per night excluding VAT. For our homes in Gothenburg the price indication on the home page shows the starting price for the number of people and nights you enter, and from 30 nights the quote can reach a lower price per night. In other towns the price is set in the quote. The binding price and the VAT are always in the quote or the agreement.

Give the organisation name, a contact person and a purchase order or cost centre in the request. The invoicing arrangement is confirmed with the quote or the agreement.

Changes and extensions

If a placement needs extending or more people need to move in, reply to the quote or the confirmation. The change is confirmed in writing and depends on availability.

The terms for changes and cancellation are in the quote or the agreement. No terms apply that you have not seen in writing.
